Day 01: Arrive in Kochi Upon your arrival at Cochin International Airport (COK), our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Fort Kochi. This historic neighbourhood is a vibrant blend of cultures with its Portuguese, Dutch and British influences. After check-in the rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the area at your own pace. In the evening you can witness a traditional Kathakali dance performance, an ancient and expressive form of storytelling through dance.

Day 02: Kochi Sightseeing to Alleppey Backwaters After breakfast, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of Kochi. You will visit the iconic Chinese fishing nets, the oldest European church in India, St. Francis Church and the charming Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace). Afterward we drive to Alleppey (approximately 1.5-2 hours), known as the “Venice of the East.” Upon arrival, you will board a traditional fully-equipped houseboat for an unforgettable backwater cruise. Enjoy the rest of the day cruising through serene canals, paddy fields and lagoons, observing local village life along the banks.

Day 03: Alleppey to Kovalam Wake up to the gentle sounds of the backwaters and enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast on the houseboat. After a final morning cruise disembark and begin your scenic drive to Kovalam (approximately 4-5 hours), a renowned beach town with three adjacent crescent-shaped beaches. Upon arrival check into your beachside hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax on the beach go for a swim or simply unwind and enjoy the sunset over the Arabian Sea.

Day 04: Kovalam & Trivandrum Exploration After a relaxed breakfast, you have the option to explore the area or indulge in a rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage (optional and at your own cost). Later in the day we will take a short drive to Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), the capital of Kerala. Visit the majestic Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a stunning example of Dravidian architecture (dress code applies) and the Napier Museum and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. The evening is free to explore the local markets of Kovalam or enjoy a farewell dinner by the beach.
