Day 01: Arrive in Delhi – A Blend of Ancient and Modern

Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport (DEL), our representative will greet you with a warm “Namaste” and facilitate your transfer to your pre-booked 3, 4 or 5-star accommodation. After check-in and some time to refresh, the afternoon is at your leisure to relax or explore the hotel’s vicinity. The evening begins with a welcome briefing with your tour manager, setting the stage for your cultural odyssey. For your first meal, we invite you to a delightful introductory dinner at a local eatery. Day 02: Delhi – Heritage & Heartbeat Exploration 

Today, immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of Delhi. We begin with a journey through Old Delhi, starting with a thrilling rickshaw ride through the narrow bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, experiencing its vibrant markets and the aroma of street food. Visit the majestic Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque and then explore the serene Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Enjoy a traditional North Indian lunch. 

In the afternoon, we explore New Delhi, driving past India Gate, the President’s House and the Parliament House. Visit the towering Qutub Minar (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the beautiful Humayun’s Tomb (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a precursor to the Taj Mahal.

Day 03: Delhi to Agra – Journey to the City of Love 

After an early breakfast, we embark on a comfortable 3-4-hour drive via air-conditioned private vehicle to Agra, the home of the legendary Taj Mahal. We will make a stop at a reputable roadside restaurant for lunch at your own expense, a chance to stretch your legs and refresh before we continue. 

Upon arrival, check into your 3, 4 or 5-star hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit the impressive Agra Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Take your time exploring this majestic red sandstone fortress, which offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River. In the evening, you will be introduced to the intricate art of marble inlay, a craft passed down through generations directly from local artisans at a workshop. The evening concludes with dinner at your leisure, allowing you to relax and prepare for the breath taking experience of the Taj Mahal at sunrise tomorrow.

Day 04: Agra to Jaipur (long and tiring travel day) – The Pink City Awaits

Rise early for a truly magical experience: a sunrise visits to the Taj Mahal (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Witnessing this iconic monument bathed in the soft morning light is an unforgettable moment. After soaking in its beauty, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, we drive to Jaipur (approximately 5-6 hours), the vibrant capital of Rajasthan famously known as the “Pink City.” 

En route, we visit Fatehpur Sikri (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the deserted Mughal city built by Emperor Akbar. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into your 3, 4 or 5-star heritage-style hotel. The evening is free for relaxation or to explore a local market in the evening.

Day 05: Jaipur – Royal Charms & Local Crafts 

Today is dedicated to exploring the regal splendors of Jaipur. Begin with an excursion to the magnificent Amber Fort, ascending the hill in a comfortable jeep. Inside, marvel at its intricate palaces and panoramic views. 

Later, visit the Jal Mahal (Water Palace, photo stop) and explore the majestic City Palace, a complex of courtyards, gardens and buildings that blend Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Discover the unique Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), an iconic five-story facade. In the afternoon, you have the option to participate in a block printing demonstration, learning about this traditional Rajasthani craft or explore the vibrant local bazaars for textiles, jewellery and handicrafts. In the evening, enjoy a special Rajasthani Thali dinner at a local restaurant, possibly accompanied by traditional folk music and dance.

Day 06: Jaipur to Varanasi – The Spiritual Heart of India 

After breakfast, we will check out and transfer to Jaipur International Airport (JAI) for your flight to Varanasi (flight duration approx. 1.5 hours, timings vary). 

Upon arrival at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (VNS), our local representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, the afternoon is at your leisure to relax or begin to soak in the spiritual atmosphere. In the evening, prepare for a profound experience as you witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. The sight of priests performing rituals to the Goddess Ganga, accompanied by chanting, bells and thousands of oil lamps, is a truly divine and unforgettable spectacle.

Day 07: Varanasi – Sacred Rituals and Buddhist Heritage Rise early for a serene and soulful sunrise boat ride on the sacred River Ganges. Witness the captivating sight of pilgrims and locals performing their morning rituals, offering prayers and taking holy dips on the ancient ghats. This is a unique opportunity to witness the city’s spiritual heartbeat up close. After the boat ride, return to your hotel for breakfast. 

Later, embark on a walking tour of the narrow, winding alleys of Old Varanasi, visiting some of its most famous temples, including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. In the afternoon, take a short excursion to Sarnath, a revered Buddhist pilgrimage site. This is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Visit the Dhamek Stupa, the ruins of ancient monasteries, and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum, which houses a rich collection of artifacts from the Mauryan era.

Upon arrival in Bodhgaya, the place where Prince Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment and became the Buddha, you will check into your hotel. Day 09: Bodhgaya – Retracing Buddha’s Footsteps Today is a day of profound spiritual significance. After breakfast, we will visit the heart of Bodhgaya, the Mahabodhi Temple Complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Meditate under the direct descendant of the original Bodhi Tree, the very spot where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. You will also see the Vajrasana (Diamond Throne), where Buddha sat in meditation. In the afternoon, explore other important pilgrimage sites. See the magnificent Great Buddha Statue, a towering 80-foot representation of the Buddha, and visit various international monasteries built by different Buddhist countries such as Thailand, Japan, Bhutan, and Tibet, each reflecting a unique architectural style.

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel.
